Bluebonnet Parade
At Addison's day care today, they had a "Bluebonnet Parade". All the students wore different Spring hats that were made in their class, and walked around the playground. Addie's infant class was pushed in a crib around the playground. The entire experience was incredibly cute!

Here is a video of Addison today just babbling away and trying to grab the camera. She is becoming more vocal every day. I can't believe she is already over 7 months old!

Post Op Appointment and Tooth Shot!
I took Addison back to the ENT doctor on Monday and he said that she still had some fluid behind her ears and prescribed some antibiotic ear drops. Addison actually did really well the week after she got the tubes and then the week after that... started getting cranky again. She has had a cold that just won't go away! All of the congestion has caused a lot of fluid and runny nose. However, after we started the antibiotics, Addison started doing great! I think she is feeling much better. She is sleeping through the night again, laughing, babbling more and just seems happy! She sometimes still coughs, but has little to no runny nose anymore. I really hope we get at least a week out of her like this. I'm sick of the colds!
I finally got a shot of Addison's teeth...

Binki Baby
Addison is given her binki whenever she is starting to become a grouch. Some parents believe the binki to be evil... me... I love the binki... it helps calm Addison quickly and she loves to play with it. We try to give it to her only when absolutely needed. I am pretty sure we could wean her off of it pretty easily because she is so laid back. Plus, if she is really tired, she is able to fall asleep without it. However, if she is over tired, uncomfortable, or just fussy the binki is a magical plastic blessing. Here are some recent pictures of Addie with her binki... oh and her daddy.

Playing with her Binki, and very happy.

Wait a minute... it doesn't fit there. (binki now needs a bath)

Addison's New Day Care
Addison started at a new day care today and did wonderfully! We took her out of her old day care because it was a little too far of a drive. We loved the staff and the day care, it just wasn't worth it to drive so much. In addition, the new place teaches sign language and has a curriculum for when Addison gets older.
Addie has also been talking... well babbling... SO much recently! Apparantly, she made a new boyfriend today at school and talked to him all day. I'm not sure if it's because of her tubes, but it seems like she just loves babbling away. It sounds really funny, lots of "ba ba blah and muh, bwah ma". I will try to get it on video. I actually didn't even get a new photo for this post! I'm falling behind... A new photo will be up soon.
