Addison Colors in the Garage

Ultrasound 19 Weeks

Paul and I went to an ultrasound appointment today and it's still a boy! The ultrasound tech was very nice and we even got to see the baby in 3D again. Jack looked great. He is now measuring 12 oz in weight and 19 and a half weeks along. His heart rate was measured at 144.

My due date was still estimated to be October 3, 2010. The coolest part of the whole ultrasound was seeing little Jack in 3D as well as seeing how much he has grown. He was moving around a lot and I can definitely feel him moving. I think in a couple of weeks Paul will be able to feel him move. I'm not sure if I'm remembering right, but I feel like Jack is moving more than I felt Addison move... or maybe I'm just more aware this time?

Yum

It's getting hot in here.... Well in Austin. We went to Central
Market last weekend to watch my dad play in a concert. Paul bought
Addie some ice cream and we all wanted a bite!

IT'S A ...

BOY!

We couldn't wait. We were suppose to wait until May 13th to see if this baby was a boy or a girl, but I am not a fan of surprises. There is a place near us called Bluebonnet Diagnostics that gives ultrasounds in order to determine the sex of the baby. The entire experience was amazing! The place was a large room that was set up like a home, with a couch and even toys to keep Addie entertained. They took some great pictures and a couple in 3D!

This is a 3D picture the baby is on the right side of the picture and still pretty small. I am 17 weeks along in this picture.

In this picture he has his hand up to his cheek. You can see his little fingers and even the shape of his mouth. Pretty cool!

This is a silhouette with his head on the right side of the picture.

And.... the goods. They lovingly call this shot the "toilet shot" because it is as if they took a picture from the toilet up. His bottom is on the left and the arrow is pointing to the boy parts.

We've decided to name him Jackson Philip Young and call him "Jack." Paul has always had the name Jack picked out for a boy, and Philip is after Paul's father. I love it and we thought "Jack Young" sounded like a good strong name.
