Last week, Paul, my dad, and I drove the kids out to Sweet Berry Farm, a large pumpkin patch in Marble Falls. Sweet Berry Farm not only has pumpkins, but you can also stuff your own scarecrow, paint pumpkins, go on a hayride, make your way through a corn maze, and even pet goats! Addison had a great time picking out some pumpkins and painting her own pumpkin. She also helped us stuff a scarecrow, which is now sitting on the swing on our front porch. The scarecrow, whom we have yet to name ... has already freaked me out a couple of times when I open the front door and the porch light is off at night.
We tried to get Addison on the hayride, but she kept yelling "NOOOoo!" and wouldn't get close to the tractors. That surprised me because she loves tractors... maybe it was the cowboy driving the tractor? I'm not really sure, but I figured if we are doing this for her and she doesn't want to go... why push it. So, we returned our hayride tickets and opted to feed the goats instead.
When we left Addison said "I had fun Mommy, I had fun!" it was very cute. We will definitely have to make this a tradition. Here are some pictures Paul and I took while at the pumpkin patch!
