Halloween 2008:
Actually, she did very well. Although she didn't "get it" at first. She eventually figured out that we knock on the door, wait and get a treat. She loved looking at the candy, and by the end of the experience she was picking the candy out of the bowl and putting it in her bag. Kelly and Tracy came to help shlep our little pirate around the neighborhood, while Paul stayed home and handed out candy to other trick or treaters.
Aunt T gives Addison a lecture on manners and saying thank you when trick or treating.
We decided to play at the park for a little bit before starting around the neighborhood.
"Who wants to go Trick or Treating?" ... "I do!"
This little boy was dressed like a monkey, and we found out he had the exact same birthday as Addie! They hit it off and trick or treated together for a little bit.
Addison wouldn't put this lollipop down after getting it early in the evening.
Kelly and I went as twin sisters who were Texas fans... we did a great job on the costumes, if I do say so myself.
MMMMmmmm!! Addison kept taking the candy out of the bowl and then putting it back in the bowl.
Paul carved Addison's pumpkin... a kitty cat of course... one of Addie's favorite animals (next to dog and bird).
